WORKFLOW OPPORTUNITY SPRINT

Find the workflow worth fixing first.

Most businesses do not need more AI. They need to know where it can actually make the business easier to run.

The Velocity Workflow Opportunity Sprint examines one real workflow inside a business, identifies where time and effort are being lost, and determines what should be simplified, automated or supported by AI.

$2,500

THE VELOCITY METHOD

Business problem first. Technology second.

Remove → Simplify → Automate → AI Assist → Keep Human

Remove

Does this step need to exist?

Simplify

Can the work be made easier before adding technology?

Automate

Is this predictable, rules-based work?

AI Assist

Does the work involve research, summarization, classification, drafting, interpretation or knowledge retrieval?

Keep Human

Does the activity require judgment, relationships, approval, negotiation, accountability or sensitive communication?

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

What could the capacity be worth?

Assumptions: 25 inbound leads per week, 18 minutes of manual work per lead today, 6 minutes after redesign, and $45/hour illustrative employee cost. Annual figures use 52 weeks.

390

hours/year current manual effort

130

hours/year potential future manual effort

260

hours of annual capacity returned

Approximately $11,700 of annual employee capacity

At a $5,000 implementation cost: illustrative simple payback of approximately 5 months.

How the illustration is calculated

25 × 18 ÷ 60 × 52 = 390 hours. At 6 minutes, the same volume requires 130 hours. The difference is 260 hours × $45 = $11,700 of employee capacity. $5,000 ÷ $11,700 × 12 = 5.1 months.

This compares implementation cost with the estimated value of capacity. It is not cash savings or guaranteed ROI. It excludes Sprint fees, ongoing software costs and optional Managed AI fees.

These are illustrative assumptions used to demonstrate how Velocity evaluates a workflow. Actual results depend on the client's process, systems, volume and implementation.
